What is 5-Amino-1MQ?
5-Amino-1MQ (5-amino-1-methylquinolinium) is a small-molecule research compound, not a peptide. It is a selective inhibitor of nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), an enzyme that consumes nicotinamide and S-adenosylmethionine and is highly expressed in adipose tissue. Because NNMT activity links to cellular NAD+ availability, 5-Amino-1MQ is studied in metabolic and adipocyte models and is often run alongside NAD+.
How it is used in research

Regenwell PH sends batches for independent third-party analysis and publishes certificates on the Certificate of Analysis page, hosted on the testing platform under the lab's certificate ID so they can be checked without an account. Storage and handling
Store lyophilised vials in a cool, dry place away from direct light; for storage beyond three months, keep frozen at -20°C.
