What is it?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a bacteriostatic agent. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth in the vial after it has been accessed, which is why it is the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides that will be sampled more than once. Regenwell supplies it in 3 mL and 10 mL multi-dose vials.
How it is used in research
Bacteriostatic water is used to reconstitute almost every peptide in our catalogue and is included in every Vial + BAC Water and Complete Set format. It is not suitable for every compound: GHK-Cu and the KLOW blend should not be reconstituted with acidic diluents, and some hard-to-dissolve sequences call for acetic water instead. - Coverage: nationwide across the Philippines by tracked courier. Metro Manila deliveries typically arrive 1 to 2 business days after dispatch; Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao provincial addresses 2 to 5 business days. Lalamove same-day is available in Metro Manila. Any pre-order or dispatch-lead-time notice shown on this page takes precedence.

- Payment: GCash, Maya, Visa/Mastercard and bank transfer, processed through Shopify's encrypted checkout. Cash on Delivery is available on orders from ₱2,500 to ₱9,999.99: choose the Cash on Delivery (JnT) shipping option (₱250) and then COD as the payment method. Orders of ₱10,000 or more are prepaid only.
- Packaging: vials are individually secured against breakage. Outer packaging is plain, with no product branding.

Storage and handling
Store sealed vials at room temperature away from direct light. Once a vial has been accessed, refrigerate at 2 to 8°C and use within the period appropriate for the solution; discard if cloudy or discoloured. 3 mL or 10 mL?
A 3 mL vial covers one or two peptide reconstitutions; 10 mL suits a laboratory reconstituting several vials over a few weeks.
How long does an opened vial keep?
General laboratory practice is 28 days from first access, refrigerated. Discard if cloudy.
