What is CJC-1295 (no DAC)?

CJC-1295 without DAC, also published as Modified GRF (1-29) or tetrasubstituted GRF (1-29), is a synthetic 29-amino-acid analogue of the N-terminal fragment of growth-hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), with four amino-acid substitutions (positions 2, 8, 15 and 27) that protect it against enzymatic cleavage. "No DAC" means it lacks the drug affinity complex, a maleimidoproprionic-acid linker that binds albumin; without it the peptide has a short half-life in circulation models, which is the property most research designs using it are built around. It is supplied as a lyophilised research peptide in 5 mg and 10 mg vials.

How it is used in research

CJC-1295 (no DAC) appears in GHRH-receptor pharmacology, pituitary cell-culture work and pulsatile-secretion models where a short-acting GHRH analogue is needed. It is not an approved medicine. It is most often ordered with ipamorelin, which acts on the GHS-R1a receptor, and the two are available pre-combined in the CJC-1295 + Ipamorelin blend. Storage and handling

Store lyophilised vials in a cool, dry place away from direct light; for storage beyond three months, keep frozen at -20°C. Frequently asked questions

With DAC or without DAC?

The DAC version binds albumin and persists for days in circulation models; the no-DAC version clears within minutes to hours. They are different tools and are not interchangeable in a design. We supply the no-DAC version; the DAC version can be requested.

CJC-1295 or sermorelin?

Both are GHRH(1-29) analogues. Sermorelin is the unmodified sequence; CJC-1295 (no DAC) carries four stabilising substitutions. Sermorelin is also available on request.
