Retatrutide in the Philippines: Research Guide
Retatrutide is the second most requested research peptide in the Philippines and the one with the fastest-growing literature. This guide covers what the compound is, how it is studied, where the published record stands in 2026, how it is handled, and how to source it locally without being sold something else. For laboratory and research use only. Nothing here is medical advice or guidance on use.
What retatrutide is
Retatrutide (development code LY3437943) is a synthetic single-chain peptide developed by Eli Lilly and first described in the literature around 2022. Like tirzepatide it is built on the GIP sequence, but it is engineered to engage three receptors: GIP, GLP-1 and glucagon. The literature calls it a triple agonist. A lipidated side chain extends its circulating time to a reported half-life of roughly six days. It is supplied for research as a lyophilised white powder in sealed vials and reconstituted with bacteriostatic water.
How it is studied
Retatrutide is used where a study needs incretin and glucagon-receptor activity from a single molecule. Typical designs compare it with tirzepatide (dual agonist) to isolate the contribution of the glucagon pathway, or use it as the incretin-side compound in combination models with an amylin analogue such as cagrilintide. Because its literature is younger, laboratories working with it more often have to establish their own analytical baselines rather than relying on published reference methods. See Tirzepatide vs Retatrutide for the research-design contrast.
The published record
Phase 2 results are published and phase 3 programs are ongoing as of 2026. Retatrutide is an investigational compound and is not an approved medicine anywhere. That has two consequences for a researcher: the pharmacokinetic and stability literature is thinner than tirzepatide's, and the compound is commonly mislabeled in the Philippine market precisely because buyers cannot easily compare against a pharmacy reference. Certificate verification matters more here, not less.

Purity and certificate
Batches are sent for independent testing and certificates are linked from the COA page as results return. If the current retatrutide certificate is not yet listed when you order, message us with the product name and we will send it or tell you plainly that it is pending. The lab testing page explains how to read one.
Handling and storage
Lyophilised vials: cool, dry, dark; freeze at -20°C beyond three months. After reconstitution with bacteriostatic water: refrigerate at 2 to 8°C, no freeze-thaw cycles. Retatrutide reconstitutes to a clear solution; cloudiness or particulates are a reason to check the vial against its certificate before proceeding. Calculations are in the concentration reference.
Sourcing retatrutide in the Philippines
Search results for "retatrutide Philippines" mix research suppliers, clinic programs, marketplace listings and affiliate guides. For a laboratory the checks are the same regardless of who is selling: certificate on the lab's platform, compound name and purity confirmed, milligrams stated, gateway checkout, written replacement policy. Run the six-point checklist. Regenwell ships by tracked courier nationwide; Metro Manila typically 1 to 2 business days after dispatch, provincial 2 to 5; GCash, Maya, cards and bank transfer at checkout.
Frequently asked questions
Is retatrutide an approved medicine?
No. It is investigational. Regenwell supplies a research-grade material for laboratory study only.
Why does it cost more per milligram than tirzepatide?
Synthesis complexity and lower production volume. At the smallest vial it is about ₱200 per mg against about ₱105 for tirzepatide. Kits narrow the gap.
Should a laboratory start with retatrutide or tirzepatide?
If the study question involves the glucagon receptor, retatrutide. If it needs a well-characterised baseline with abundant reference data, tirzepatide. See the three-way comparison.
Does it pair with cagrilintide?
In combination-model designs, yes; see Retatrutide vs Cagrilintide.
